The Fund for Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking concluded yesterday, Wednesday, January 14, 2026, the activities of the intensive training program organized in cooperation with the National Coordinating Committee for Combating and Preventing Illegal Migration and Human Trafficking and the Egyptian Ministry of Endowments in Fayoum Governorate.The program comes within the framework of supporting national efforts aimed at combating the crime of human trafficking and strengthening the role of religious leaders in raising community awareness of the dangers and various forms of this crime, as part of an integrated national strategy for prevention and protection.
وشارك في البرنامج التدريبي، الذي عُقد على مدار ثلاثة أيام، أكثر من 90 إمامًا وواعظًا وواعظة من مختلف قرى ومراكز محافظة الفيوم، من بينهم 20 واعظة، بما يسهم في إيصال رسائل التوعية بصورة فعالة ومبسطة إلى مختلف فئات المجتمع.
ويُعد هذا البرنامج أحد محاور خطة الصندوق لتنفيذ سلسلة من الدورات التدريبية المتخصصة بعدد 12 محافظة على مستوى الجمهورية حتى مايو 2026، بهدف بناء شبكة وطنية من الشركاء الفاعلين في التوعية بمختلف صور جرائم الاتجار بالبشر وسبل الوقاية والحماية منها.
وافتتح فعاليات البرنامج فضيلة الشيخ سلامة عبد الرازق، وكيل وزارة الأوقاف ومدير مديرية أوقاف الفيوم، حيث أكد على الدور المحوري الذي يضطلع به رجال الدين في حماية المجتمع وتعزيز قيم الوعي والمسؤولية المجتمعية.
وركز البرنامج التدريبي على تنمية قدرات المشاركين في التعرف على أشكال جريمة الاتجار بالبشر المختلفة، وتوظيف النصوص الدينية في دعم جهود التوعية، وربط القيم الدينية بمناهضة جميع صور الاستغلال.
ويواصل صندوق مساعدة ضحايا الاتجار بالبشر تنفيذ خطته التدريبية بالمحافظات المستهدفة، في إطار سعيه لنشر الوعي المجتمعي على أوسع نطاق، وتعزيز الشراكة مع الجهات المعنية لمكافحة هذه الجريمة وحماية الفئات الأكثر عرضة للخطر.
The three-day training program was attended by more than 90 imams, male and female preachers from various villages and districts of Fayoum Governorate, including 20 female preachers, contributing to the effective and simplified delivery of awareness messages to different segments of society.
This program is one of the Fund’s action plan components to implement a series of specialized training courses across 12 governorates nationwide through May 2026, with the aim of building a national network of active partners in raising awareness of the various forms of human trafficking crimes and methods of prevention and protection.
The program was inaugurated by His Eminence Sheikh Salama Abdel Razek, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Endowments and Director of the Fayoum Endowments Directorate, who emphasized the pivotal role played by religious leaders in protecting society and promoting the values of awareness and social responsibility.
The training program focused on developing participants’ capacities to identify the various forms of human trafficking crimes, employ religious texts in support of awareness efforts, and link religious values to combating all forms of exploitation.
The Fund for Assisting Victims of Human Trafficking continues to implement its training plan in the targeted governorates as part of its efforts to spread community awareness on the widest possible scale and strengthen partnership with relevant entities to combat this crime and protect the groups most vulnerable to risk.
